Oh Em Gee. Babies, huh?! God DAMN they are gorgeous and hilarious. Yes they are, but they can also be the craziest of time stealers. And when I say that babies are time stealers, I mean that they LITERALLY MAKE TIME DISAPPEAR for their parents without anyone ever noticing! I am not even kidding. I swear to god, I am so busy with the baby every day (and the toddler for that matter), that I get up in the morning, think about the long day ahead, FUCKING blink and all of a sudden it’s bed time.AND FOR THE FREAKING LIFE OF MY I HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING DONE ALL DAY. I must preface this instalment by mentioning that we have recently experienced a death in the family. A very unexpected death, and it has left our whole family shattered and stunned. It is not remotely my story to tell, so I will say no more on the subject, however I do want you to know that as I write these words, my heart is breaking over and over. I’m 22 weeks pregnant now hooray! And to celebrate, I have gotten a nasty case of the flu. The freaking damn flu! I got the flu jab two weeks ago so to me this was wholly unexpected. And totally unwelcome. Stupid flu jerk. (more…)
