I know that you all already know this (because I wont stop talking about it), but I am about to go from being a mother of one child to a mother of two in this glorious game of parenthood. I am so close to doing so, that I am actually due today. Like, literally TODAY. And you know what crossed my mind last night? I must preface this instalment by mentioning that we have recently experienced a death in the family. A very unexpected death, and it has left our whole family shattered and stunned. It is not remotely my story to tell, so I will say no more on the subject, however I do want you to know that as I write these words, my heart is breaking over and over. Pregnant Lady Alert! Pregnant Lady Alert! Tummy that has stretched beyond what is humanly possibly for 34 freaking weeks alert! I say this every freaking time I know but 34 weeks? I’m 22 weeks pregnant now hooray! And to celebrate, I have gotten a nasty case of the flu. The freaking damn flu! I got the flu jab two weeks ago so to me this was wholly unexpected. And totally unwelcome. Stupid flu jerk. (more…)
